It’s an assumption of benefits — a solider served his country, offered courage in the most tragic of circumstances. His actions were proven worthy; and a return home was to ensure security for the future. Enrolling within the Department of Veteran Affairs seemed the easiest way to obtain all promised rewards. He would surely receive what he deserved.

Instead, however, he finds himself now struggling: with no benefits given and no explanations provided. The soldier is without the support he’s earned — and this is as disheartening as the war he fought in.

It’s estimated that almost 9,000,000 individuals are involved with the Department of Veteran Affairs. Of these men and women, however, only 3,000,000 receive the expected benefits. A slightly higher average (5,000,000) qualify for minimal healthcare; and the rest are lost in the void between, unable to gain the help they need for themselves and their families.

Such numbers are startling — and spark the need for support groups.

Veterans lacking the necessary aid rely on support groups. These organizations are composed of professional counselors, attorneys and physicians: all working together to ensure that soldiers gain the respect they deserve. They tirelessly devote themselves to cases, giving legal and financial advice — as well as helping families cope with the emotional strains.

These efforts are imperative. Veterans often return home and are unable to develop a typical existence. They require care. Support groups ensure that they receive it — by obtaining the benefits they earned by serving their country and their cause.

Kazakhstan is one of the largest land-locked countries in the world. That means it has to make sure it can protect its entire border. Kazakhstan has seen its share of war and poverty, but recent financial reforms have helped Kazakhstan to develop a military that is able to defend the country from any invader.

The Kazakhstan President Nursultan Nazarbayev has seen his share of war and conflict. He was a member of the Soviet Communist Party during the Soviet occupation of Afghanistan. He understands the importance of a competent and well-prepared military. That is why Kazakhstan has invested a great deal of money into creating a state of the art military that is capable of defending all the republic’s borders.

The Kazakhstan weapons-building industry is a prosperous one that exports weapons as well as selling them to the domestic government. Tanks, planes, troop carriers and infantry assault weapons are being manufactured in Kazakhstan. The Kazakhstan army is becoming a modern army in this world filled with conflict.

The former member of the Soviet Union has remained close with its neighbors. In 2009, along with Russia and Armenia, Kazakhstan helped to establish a coalition of former Soviet states that is designed to defend against terrorism and other international threats.

Kazakhstan will get the chance to use its own military might to defend itself and its former Soviet brethren. It is a long way from the days of Soviet oppression that helped to stall the development of the Kazakhstan army and left the people of Kazakhstan defenseless.

In the modern day and age, camelbak hydration packs have become popular. People enjoy being outdoors, therefore it is not surprising that hydration packs will come in handy. Camelbak hydration packs are known for its high quality standard. This pack has derived its name from the camel, called the ‘ship of desert’. The camel is known to store water during dry spells of weather in his hump. Camelbak hydration packs are made of superior quality material and are suitable to be used outside during activities such as backpacking, camping and long distance cycle tours. Sportsmen depend on camelbak packs to quench their thirst.

Camelbak packs can be kept against the waist or back, where the individual can sip water without using their hands. All you need to do is to use the bite valve on the camelbak pack, which lets the water flow through to your mouth from the hose. Camelback hydration packs are eco-friendly products allowing people access to fresh, clean water, compared to plastic bottled water, which is known not to be eco-friendly at all. Being closest to what is natural is a great satisfaction for many, and with the camelback hydration pack you are one step closer to being one with nature!

War is integral to human history – older than culture, society, even humanity. Combat is as primal as eating. It is not clear whether this should make it more or less surprising that war persists today – that, despite all the cultural, societal and technological advancements of humanity, there still should be war.

Even with all that experience, humanity still doesn’t know how to handle war, both during and afterward. Once the decision is made to go to war, it’s the youth of the world who go into battle – those same best and brightest who are the future of humanity. It seems strange that a society should endanger its future by sending its youth into battle, yet, perversely, they are the ones most capable of fighting.

Once soldiers return from war, society has to decide what to do with them, and unfortunately it’s really bad at the decision. One would think that those who have put their lives in jeopardy to serve their country should be taken care of as needed and given good jobs in honor of their service, yet in reality many soldiers feel abandoned after they return. In the past, programs such as the GI Bill gave soldiers a course of action to enter back into society and there are traces of that remaining today. More serious is the problem of the hardship and stress endured in war. Treatment of post-traumatic stress disorder is an ongoing issue. Whatever the specifics, it is critical for society to figure out how to welcome back those who have worked so hard to protect everyone.

America stands for so many great attributes, yet as American’s often we sit back under the name “American” and do nothing. Are we truly going to sit back with the couch-potato, lazy attitude when it comes to important things that matter in life? The government, Army, National Guard, Air Force, Navy, and anyone else left out cannot fight all of our battles. It is our duty to make our voice, which is one of our greatest gifts, heard to make our nation the best that it can be. How do we do this? First consider what you choose to complain about. What matters truly do you take heart in and want to learn more, help more, and share with others? This is where lobbying comes in. Lobbying is very powerful. As an American, you have a duty to participate in true citizenry. You can learn more about lobbying and specific organizations through Open Secrets, or other online sources.

Take action. Learn about matters that do concern you and take ownership in solving some of these issues. If not you, then who? You can help spread the message to your local government, send letters to congressman, and sign petitions online. You can also search information that is pertinent to your concerns and share with others as well as ask for their support in signing petitions online. Gone are the days of knocking door-to-door to get the message out there. Utilize technology and don’t conform to the lazy potato-chip eating, TV watcher American.

It is said that any chain is only as strong as its weakest link. This is absolutely true in the case of coordinated efforts among different groups which are collectively aiming to achieve any particular goal or target.

In the case of the armed forces in many countries, the parent forces are supported by several groups which provide strategic support which is critical to the proper functioning of the parent force. These support groups are often entities in the private sector, and accordingly they have their own style of management which might be a lot different from the management styles of the parent forces. In addition, while the parent forces may have their prime target as winning any war, the support groups would have a more business-like target, namely their financial bottom-line. This is one of the major differences that creates a serious gap in the achievement of goals as a coordinated effort.

The same is equally true in the corporate world, where organizations outsource specific work to support groups who may be differently aligned with their objectives as compared to the parent organization which outsourced the work to them.
It thus becomes necessary to select support groups with great care, after examining all aspects. After selecting these groups, it is equally important to regularly monitor their performance, to establish if things are on track and identify the variables that are likely to get out of control. It is necessary to act with corrective measures well before any damage has actually happened, and this can be achieved only through regular monitoring.

Cases of support groups lacking strength are not uncommon, and a large number of missed targets and failures can directly or indirectly be ascribed to the lack of capability, or insufficient monitoring of the support groups. Selecting support groups for specific tasks thus acquires greater significance, and the parent organizations need to proceed with all caution, with in-depth knowledge of the complete process, and adequate breadth of knowledge about the big picture. Now it is a known fact.

All of us seek the support of our government at all stages in life. A government is something like a parental figure, which is supposed to meet all our expectations and aspirations in life. We all prefer to live under the umbrella of safety and security that our government provides. At the same time, we also like to follow the laws, rules and regulations that our government desires.

Terms like socialist, democratic, and capitalist are ascribed to different constitutional environments prevailing in the world. In a socialist or democratic regime, governments are expected to be too visible in all spheres of activity, and all control is centered with the government. Whereas in a capitalist environment, the government is less visible, and most activity is managed by the private sector.

Socialist or democratic governments are more suited to the developing and under-developed countries. Such a government is expected to be more visible, since a lot greater degree of hand-holding and support is required by the citizens of such countries. These populations cannot be left at the mercy of a capitalist regime, since they do not have any life-support except the blessings of their government, and whatever means their government can provide.

Any government is expected to be functional only for a limited period of time, in today’s environment. There are still some monarchies in the world, where the rulers decides how long they wish to stay in power. In all other forms of government, the term is fixed, and a new government is expected to take over after expiry of this term. Selection of a new government is usually by voting, for which different countries have their own mechanisms.

Transparency in government is an important issue that is often debated and discussed, and even complained about, in many countries from time to time. A good government would like to keep the trust of its citizens uppermost during their functioning, and transparency is among one of the major aspects that they like to maintain. It really is a parent. No doubt about that.

Having witnessed two World Wars in the last century, this planet continues to teeter on the edge, with minor conflagrations having become a regular affair in many regions globally. Minor conflicts threaten to grow into full-blown confrontations. Since most countries are polarized towards one or the other of the major blocs ideologically, the possibility of another World War is often discussed and debated. At the same time all countries unanimously condemn war, and make all attempts at ensuring that peace prevails, and that people resolve their conflicts through talk and not through arms and ammunition.

In the worst case scenario, assuming that the local conflict grows into a war in some region, there might be consequences which could further add to the already pathetic conditions that prevail in most regions of the world today. Issues of survival confront many of the developing and under-developed countries even today, with no signs of improvement. Most of the developed world continues to reel under severe economic crises, and recovery from the financial woes seems to be uppermost on the agenda. Under these conditions, it is unlikely that this planet might witness any war in future.

The cost of war is extremely high. Waging war is not a poor man’s game. Assuming that the future sees prosperity prevail again on this planet, maybe in a few centuries from now, and some powerful blocs decide to play the sport of war for entertainment, they might choose some location in space to play their game of war, since technology might permit this option to be exercised. The science fiction of today might provoke and enable humans to actually work in that direction.

Space tourism seems to have already become a distinct reality. Once space tourism becomes a regular ongoing feature of human activity, it will open the route for plenty of other activities in space. Most of this activity could be for business or fun, but the possibility a war in space might become a reality too. You can really expect this war to happen in future. So take care of all happening around you.

During their young days, several boys and girls have this burning desire of doing something for their nation. Out of these several children also dream about joining the armed forces. They wish to wear the army uniform, have those huge guns in their hands, fight battles and win wars. Some of them also wish to be air force pilots and fly fighter planes and some want to sail on long voyages with the navy. However, only few of them go ahead and fulfill their dreams. It would appropriate to say only few of them have what it takes to get into the armed forces.

Being a part of the military can be extremely prestigious for you and your family. Being a part of the military, is being a cause of your nation’s security. Your nation needs people who are patriotic enough to fight for it. Opting for armed forces as a career will help you have a career which will not only pay buy also get glory. Wearing the army uniform and fighting for their nation is an army man’s biggest dream. After attending army training, new recruits are given posts within the army and sent on missions.

These missions happen in areas where there is some conflict or mishap. To be a part of the armed forces, you have to undergo a series of tests before you can join the training. Only after you graduate from trainings camps, you can become army men. There are stories of cadets fleeing training camps as they can’t endure this process. Being in army training camps can cause a 360 degree turn in you lifestyle. These changes may be frustrating and but once you adopt them, you will have a respectable life ahead.

Being a part of the army requires you to attend several phases of the training at several levels.

Donations in cash and kind are regularly sought by people and groups from most countries. This has become a consistent and ongoing effort in view of the prevailing economic circumstances which plague almost all countries today. Donations and aid are required primarily for issues of survival and sustenance. Most seekers of aid are focused in the developing and under-developed countries which have borne the onslaught of all kinds of crises including diseases, hunger and starvation. Vast segments of populations survive entirely on aid in these countries, with no other means of livelihood. Their governments might be helpless in providing for the masses due to various reasons, and also seek aid at international levels for their populations.

The picture at the other end is a bit different. Donors of aid primarily belong to affluent countries in the developed world. Their governments encourage donations and aid through tax incentives to the donors. In addition, many large global organizations have an element of Corporate Social Responsibility among their business objectives, and this prompts them to regularly continue to strive for the welfare of the deprived populations in whatever manner that their budgets allow. Even governments provide aid to the deprived countries through their own channels.

Somewhere between these two extremes there is a disconnect. The aid that flows from the donor does not always reach the target populations. There seem to be all kinds of middlemen on the way, and their existence is no wonder, since the quantum of aid might vary from small amounts to extremely large amounts, and seems to be flowing in great abundance from the donors. In the absence of strict surveillance on the flow of aid, it becomes easy for the middlemen to divert the aid for their private gains. These middlemen may be individuals, or even medium to large organizations, and who operate in a dodgy manner where it becomes difficult for law enforcement to catch up with their activities. Aid donors seem to be ineffective in controlling this loss. Donor is really crucial for all these things.

Government as we all know that is quite inefficient and cannot act at the times when it is expected to do good work. This could really be disastrous. This may be because it doesn’t have the latest technologies at the disposal and cannot really cope up with the situation on hand. The main reason that Government works on papers and not the facts is what makes it inefficient.

To avoid such embarrassments, you may need to equip the government with more number and efficient people. Also the technology playa an important hand. You can expect the government to perform better with electronic data and gadgets. There are many people in the government who don’t quite work up to their abilities. This could be seriously damaging. Don’t expect the government to perform at its best when you don’t equip with all this. It is absolutely vital.

The other major draw back is that the people working in the government get far lesser salaries compared to others. It really makes the employees to work below par and can have serious impact on the performance. To avoid such things the government needs to pay them better. There is no way in this world that you can expect the employees to perform at their best if the basic criteria of salary are not sorted out. You need to make sure that the employees are paid as per their caliber so also on the performance. A fair salary would encourage the employees to perform better. Isn’t that a great sign for the future. The Government can perform at its best when they can ensure these facts. A better government always ensures a better progressing country.

This is the question perhaps everyone wants answer for. The fact that Government acts so slow that it irritates most of us. The thing is that Government which is equipped with latest technology and men power still doesn’t match with the requirements. Government is always known for late reaction. This does affect many projects that government takes up from time to time.

Government is the one organization that we just cannot go against. At the time of floods, earthquake or any other disaster, Government takes lots of time to start the rehabilitation work and this affects the people who are affected by these disasters. It is quite obvious that the Government needs to act much faster to ensure that the services reach the needy in time.

Government uses air force, Navy & military services in order to ensure peace at the time of law & order problem in the country. Nobody can take the law for granted. These people also help the victims of natural disasters in a way to recover from the problems. Government as many say is quite inefficient to deal with the emergency situations. Health care is the one area where it fails. In the times of natural disasters they need to ensure that proper care is taken to give good health facilities to the victims. This is very crucial since most of the hospitals will be full with patients and the treatment becomes quite hard. You may understand the fact that Government is not quite to its best.

So what do we need to do in order to get out of this situation? The simple thing that we could do keep quite.

Democracy is the form of people where are allowed to select their heads of government. Democratic elections mean that several parties or contestants are allowed to contest for the position and ask voters to choose for them. Voters are free and allowed to vote for the contestant they like. People can choose contestants on the basis of their choice. If voters ever feel that they are not seeing good leaders, it is because bad people have voted for them.

A democratic form of government can only function properly if there is equal amount of participation from the nation’s citizens in the political processes. Democracy requires political leaders and government heads to be directly responsible to its citizens. In a democratically established government, leaders enjoy power till they enjoy the support of the masses. If the masses do not support the government, it has to resign and make way for a new establishment.

The roots of democracy can be traced back to ancient Greece. In Athens, and other Greek states apart from Sparta, democracy was prevalent. People had the right to choose their leaders and governing bodies. Several monarchies of the world have now taken the shape of monarchical democracies. By this, the monarchs are only the titular heads, with little say in the political processes. The power lies in the hands of leaders selected by the people.

However, several critics consider democracy to be suitable only for the rich. Several communist nations recognize democratic nations as a hurdle in people’s wellbeing. This phenomena may happen as democratic governments allow right of ownership to its masses, unlike the communist and military regimes, where the right to ownership only remains with the ruling body.

For full and free function of democracy it is important that the laws of the nation are well coded without any loopholes. These loopholes may prove dangerous for democracy.

To join armed forces, it is important for recruits to undergo intensive training. Even before you are selected for the army training sessions, you must qualify for these. There are several qualifying tests and interviews for you to pass before you can enter training camps. In these training camps you must be prepared for days of intensive training and workouts. For completing these trainings, one has to move to residential camps for the entire period of your training. You will have to stay away from your family and leave your civil lifestyle behind in order to become an army man.

You will have strict drill sergeants in these camps to teach you the rules and regulations of the army. These drill sergeants are your instructors for the entire training session. There are other module guides who also act as messengers. There are both male and female recruits in these training camps. During training sessions teams will be made including both the sexes. As a team, it is your duty to treat everyone equally. There are several different workouts and regimes that you will have to follow. You must realize that you are planning to join the army, which demands you to be disciplined. In order to teach you discipline, you may have to undergo punishments even for small mistakes.

Several people think that the army training camp don’t let you connect with you family member. However this is untrue. You are allowed few minutes of phone calls every week. Before leaving for training camps, make sure you tell you loved ones to write to you. Mail calls in your training days will be your best time.

Not one person can say that an enrollment in the Navy doesn’t sound dignified and adventurous, especially when dealing with Spec Ops; but the truth is it’s a big decision. A decision that takes your ultimate commitment. Once you embark on that quest to enlist, you end up going through physical after physical, countless questions about your medical history, tests, and then after possiblyqualifying (which is never a definite yes), you go into boot camp, a place designed to literally break you down and build you back up from your toes right to your forehead—all without a cell phone, without a TV, and without being with your friends or family from home. As said before, it’s a big decision.

So, naturally, before you enlist, you want to make sure everything is set at home—if you have a day job, get military leave; if you have schooling, make sure you’re exempt from expulsion.

More importantly, if you have debts to your name, make sure your family doesn’t have to deal with it!

You have to remember that boot camp is a 6-month process. It’s a long time to not pay your debts off, and the countless calls can put a lot of stress on your loved ones’ heads. So this is what you do: consult a debt consolidation service and work on making it as easy and convenient as possible while you’re away. While you get income for enlisting, getting the debts paid off is a lot tougher than you think when no one else can get into your account. Consolidating your debts is a necessary step to make it less of a headache for all your family members back home.

If you have the will and heart for it, sign up. Be sure you know what you’re leaving behind, though. Otherwise, your country calls, and you are the patriot.

The advertisement in the newspapers, as well as several big hoardings around town show a big finger pointed at you, with loud text underneath that says something like ‘The Army Needs You’, or ‘The Navy Needs You’, depending on which advertisement you happen to notice. If you look closer at the fine print, you will notice a long string of benefits attached with the job. If this is not enough to make you start dreaming of a great lifestyle, you need to see some of the war movies to get the big picture of what military life is all about.

Military benefits usually cover the entire spectrum of a person’s existence. The general philosophy seems to be that since the military puts a person through a good deal of hardship and sacrifice, the least they can do is to compensate the person lavishly so that the pain of hardship and sacrifice can be minimized. Another factor that could be a consideration might also be the shortage of personnel faced by the forces, which is another good reason to further add to the long list of military benefits, aimed at enticing the young and capable.

A career in the forces is usually long, and the exit routes midway are extremely difficult, if not impossible. Any entrant to the system will necessarily have to forego the opportunities and comforts of civilian life. The forces understand this, and make all efforts to adequately compensate the person.

Military benefits are something that many people would cherish. Among the greatest benefits is the status and respect in society that a career in the forces commands. There are no parallels to this prestige in society.

Governments are formed to govern the nation. There are several kinds of governments like democratic, communist, monarchic, military etc. These governments are different as they adopt different ways and ideologies of governing their people. Some governments allow elections and give their citizens the right to elect their governing heads, where as others follow hereditary or selective methods. These methods may bring people to power but often fail in establishing stable governments. Stable governments are those which work towards the nation’s well-being.

A stable government is very necessary for the nation’s stable economic, political and cultural growth. Without the existence of a stable government people of that nation are always confused and not secure about their future. Stable governments and strong political parties not only protect the nation from foreign invasions and attacks but also help in creating a nice image of the nation. A government which is supported by the nation’s citizens creates a happy society. A society which is happy renders ample scope for social development.

Stable governments provide people with opportunities to grow and discover their capacities. Citizens who have stable governments at home take chances and enjoy participating in political process and happenings. It is important for people to realize the importance of stable governments as it creates stable minded citizens. If you think bad people have come to power and not providing enough stability, it is important that you overthrow it and demand the establishment of a new government.

History speaks for all those political revolutions that have taken place because people were not happy with their existing governments. The American Revolution, French Revolution, Russian Revolution and the great Revolution of Iran are all examples of demanding stable governments. Governments are made to govern people, but if people aren’t happy with their governing bodies, they have every right to demand for a new and stable one.

Women have come a long way in their lives. Women are capable, qualified and eligible for all kinds of jobs. It is true that men are stronger in terms of physique, when compared to a woman. But there is nothing that can match a women’s level of tolerance and endurance. Women have excelled in all walks of their personal and professional lives and they continue with this legacy even in the armed forces.

There are several women who have chosen to become air force pilots and fly fighter planes for the army. Just like men, these women also undergo army training to make their place in the army. Women may have to undergo different kids of tests and interviews before they join the armed forces. Women are also required meet the age, height and weight requirements for joining the services. They have to pass through a series of tests that test their physical strength. There are sessions of interviews to find about their moral character as well.

However women must remember to have some experience with physical exercises before they arrive for army training. This is because army workouts will stretch your existing levels of physical endurance. Several women have the capacity to run very fast for a long time, but there are several other exercises that are taught there. Women often falter while doing push ups. While in army training camps, you are not supposed to count the number of push ups you are doing but should continue to do so till your drill sergeant asks you to stop.

Men and women are not discriminated against in the army. They are treated as equals and are also eligible for equal punishments if they commit the same mistakes. Women should however not expect any kind of soft treatment from the drill sergeants because of their sex.
